Work I created for a styling brief at college; from my personal manifesto I decided to focus on the word 'nostalgia' as the stimulus of my shoot, as I felt it epitomized the way in which we are constantly drawing upon the past for inspiration. I aimed my attention especially towards the decade of the 1920s, reflecting on
photographers/artists of the past (Edward Steichen, Erte) as well as the present (Paolo Roversi, Galliano).
These were my final images, in which I used overlaying techniques to create a dreamlike, nostalgic effect.
