Dazed

This blog has regretfully been a little devoid of posts as of late due to work commitments; however yesterday I visited the Dazed & Confused exhibition in london and felt the need to blog about it asap! The exhibition accompanied the book (below), which celebrated the magazines 20th anniversary magnificently; truly a feast for the eyes (but unfortunately not for the bank balance!). The images from the exhibition, especially those from the shoot 'fashion-able' (conceived by Alexander Mcqueen & photographed by Nick Knight) made me realise how innovational the magazine really is. Dazed is one of the few fashion magazines throughout history to have honestly portrayed the physically disabled in a positive and, in my opinion, starkly beautiful light.Although small, the exhibition was particularly stimulating. Various shoots were layed out in angled 'l' shaped columns, whilst selected photographs were larger in size.
