My parents bought me a lovely gift for Christmas;the beautiful and beguiling 'Savage Beauty', a meaty hardback accompaniment to the recent exhibition that showcased at the Met (just my luck to visit when the costume institute when there were no exhibitions on show). The book is generally an ode to the late, great genius that was, and still is, Lee Alexander McQueen. It showcases a number of his most prolific and captivating designs in all their great quality, glossy glory, as well as featuring an insightful introduction by the ever-eloquent Tim Blanks. Here are a few pages that caught my attention, most probably due to the complexity of the designs.
