One of my not entirely guilt- ridden purchases in New York was this Style.Com biannual (I do believe) magazine. I was particularly attracted to its design; being a documentation of the main fashion capitals’ spring/summer fashion weeks, it featured endearing and masterful ‘map’ illustrations from a number of creatives such as Gary Card. Being a sucker for a nice collage, I was also drawn to the magazines artful mood boards, as well as the prospect of actually being able to get stuck into reading things rather than having to flick through the innumerable adverts that seemingly crop up in magazines nowadays.
